The Post Disposition Project ("PDP") provides quality legal representation to youth currently incarcerated in the state juvenile prisons. The project is committed to protecting youth’s constitutional rights and ensuring that they receive the treatment and rehabilitation to which they are entitled. PDP attorneys and youth advocates work with incarcerated youth to identify opportunities for early release from prison and placement in more appropriate community-based alternatives. In addition to its work representing individual youth, PDP works to build a consensus amongst all stakeholders to develop a juvenile justice system that provides strength-based opportunities for youth, their families and our communities.

If you would like to make a referral for a youth currently incarcerated, either email or mail the Request for Help Form. Please email us at info@jjpl.org, place PDP Intake in the subject line of your email and complete and attach the Request for Help Form. You may also call us directly and ask for a PDP Intake.

If you are a guardian of a youth whose case we are already monitoring and you need to complete the release paperwork, please print the Record Release Form and mail it to us. Be sure to sign the document.
